Because of all that we have been through in the last 4 months I believe that Mark and I need a vacation more than ever. We are actually going back home (Dallas, TX) in a couple of weeks on May 7th for a friends graduation and DH will come back to PA on the 11th and I will fly back on the 18th. This will be a great get away for us but we will be so busy it might not be very relaxing.
I was looking into going to another Sandals resort sometime this summer but its going to be almost $3,000 and with us still trying to sell our house in Ft. Worth, we are on hold with large purchases since we will be out over $12,000 when we finally do sell the house. So of course, that puts our Sandals vacation on hold for right now.
I still felt like we needed to get away and I came up with a great idea. Mark and I and two of our friends are going to go to Cincinnati, OH the last weekend in May and go to Kings.Island. For those of you that aren't aware of what that is, it's a huge amusement park very similar to Six.Flags.
Mark and I love roller coasters and haven't been able to get to an amusement park in several years so we figured since I'm not pregnant any more and can ride rides, why not go now. I must say that I am really excited to go. Who would have ever thought that I would be excited to go to Ohio. Ha.
As far as an update on me, I had some major cramping last night and I still have a lot of bleeding but things seems to be on the up and up. I'm so ready to feel like myself again and I'm especially ready to not have to wear pads. They gross me out big time!
I need to clean the house today but I just can't find the motivation. I think I'm going to get Mark to help me when he gets home. He will be so excited. Not.
