We are Dadless

That's right. Mark has left for West Virginia and wont be home until Tuesday. His company has three jobs going out this week. One in West Virginia and two in Washington. The one in WV is 24 hour pump time so that means it takes two engineers. Marks two engineers were suppose to go to WV and he was going to stay here and handle the Washington jobs. Well Marks boss had other plans and sprung them on him yesterday afternoon.

So DH left about 30 minutes ago. I don't do very well when I'm home alone. I have a hard time sleeping because I have major paranoia. Also, I'm nervous that if something were to go wrong with the baby, I would be here all alone. I have a couple of friends in the area so if something did go wrong, I could call them. The worst thing about WV is that fact that it is pretty much what you see in the movies, very hill-billy ie not good phone service. At least Mark is working the night shift so I can talk to him during the day!

I am still sick from allergies but it seems to be getting better. I now have a cough which is less than lovely but I will live. I have taken one clariten (Nurse said it was okay) but after that, I haven't taken anything else. I just feel guilty taking something and it could have a bad outcome with the baby.

In other good news, the daughter of my moms best friend is telling her family that she is expecting a second baby today! She is actually due about a week after us but will go early because she will need a C-section. I'm really excited for her and for all the babies that will be coming this year. Last year was the year of weddings, this year will be the year of babies.
