First U/S

So this morning at 10 Mark and I went into have our first u/s. The tech was really nice but didn't give us a lot of information during the u/s.

Once she did the internal scan she could see a sac but nothing in the sac. That of course made me super nervous. She said that it's normal and that since I am just 5 weeks today that it's just very early to actually see anything.

So after leaving, I was panicking that we didn't see anything. Of course I came home and the first thing I did was google and everything I found on google pretty much said the only thing you would see at 5 weeks is a sac so that makes me feel a ton better.

I have a call into the Dr.'s office to try and see what kind of appointment I will do next and when my next ultrasound will be. I assume that I will be in about a week to two weeks (probably closer to the two week mark). I am so relieved though that right now the baby is where it is suppose to be!

We are keeping our fingers crossed that next time we go for an u/s we will see our little turkey and a strong heart beat!
