Week 28

Where is the time going? The fact that Makayla will be here in 9-12 weeks is amazing. I feel like time needs to slow down a bit but at the same time, I want to wake up and have my little girl in my arms. I can't wait to see who she looks like and give her all the love I have to give.

Speaking of getting to see her, Mark booked a 3/D ultrasound for me for my birthday. We are going at 6:30 on Thursday evening. I can't wait!! I've seen some great pictures people have gotten from their ultrasounds and I hope we are able to be in that same boat.

I'm feeling pretty good overall. I do have some severe back pain that I wish would go away but I'm dealing with it. I'm going to talk to my Dr. about it on Wednesday. I'm sure she will say to suck it up. I also get tested for gestational diabetes on Wednesday. I really hope I pass.

I've really tried super hard to control my weight this month. The last two months I was a freaking pig and the scale showed it and my Dr. told me to get things under control, which I have and as of yesterday, I have only gained 2lbs this month. Of course, that was before we went to Bravo last night for dinner and I ate like I had never eaten before. It was so yummy and my birthday dinner so I figured it was okay.

On a sad note, MrsTyson, one of the ladies from PgAL lost her sweet baby girl at 33 weeks. My heart just breaks for her. I can't imagine the pain of loosing my baby girl.
