I have been a horrible blogger.
So let me update you on where we are with this LO.
I went in for an u/s on Friday to make sure it was an intrauterine pregnancy. Well, the good news is that it is. The tech was really nice and of course I got the dreaded question, "how many pregnancies," Me- 3, "how many children" Me- None. The poor tech just looked up at me like I had 4 eyes. I realize that this is a awkward thing for people so I have learned to deal with the strange looks.
So I was measuring less than 5 weeks, which at first I was freaking out about but once I went back and thought about it, I think I'm only 5w1d today since I O'd late so on Friday, not measuring 5 weeks yet would be okay.
Now for the bad news, I have a pretty large subchoronic hematoma. Right now it is measuring 1.5CM and baby is measuring 5mm so it's 3 times the size. The u/s tech called the on call Dr. and all he said was it's a wait and see thing now. Of course, my risk for a m/c goes up to about a 50-50 chance so I'm just taking things one day at a time.
I have another u/s scheduled for Sept. 8th which will put me at 6w3d so we should see a HB.
So, for right now, it is a wait and see game.

Good Luck! The waiting game is so hard. T & P coming your way.
ReplyDeleteI really hope this is it for you Kate! Im praying that your next u/s shows that the subchoronic hematoma is gone or at least shrinks down to almost nothing. God can work miracles. I know waiting is hard, but I hope your wait isn't too bad. ((Hugs))
ReplyDeletegood luck KAte! I've been praying for ya! ((hugs))
