Here are my 7 things:
1) When DH and I first met I actually really like his friend. I didn't even get DH's number at the time because he didn't catch my eye. A couple days later, DH had gotten my number from his other friend and called me to ask me on a date. Here we are 6 years later happy as we could be.
2) I spent most of my senior year in high school sick because not only did I have mono for almost 5 months but I kept passing out. After spending many days in hospitals being tested for everything under the sun I was diagnosed with a heart disease.
3) I dated a guy named Tim Allen. Kinda random huh?
4) I use to be part of a funeral choir. Our whole purpose was to sing at funerals. We would get a call and the next day we would attend the funeral and sing. Most of the time I didn't know the person who had died. It always blows my mind when I know an adult who has only been to a few funerals, or a person like DH who has only been to two because I've probably been to 100.
5) I use to oil paint. I have always been the artsy type of person and my parents put me in art classes. Every Saturday I would go to art class and oil paint. I loved it and still have all of my paintings. Hopefully one day I will get them from my parents.
6) I have a huge hole in my side because I had a severe allergic reaction to the sun when I was a lifeguard. The nurse practitioner gave me a steroid shot and she missed the muscle and hit the fat and because of that, it caused part of my side to sink in. It has taken years to finally get some what flat. I saw a plastic surgeon and everything to try and get it fixed. I think it's where some of my fear of needles came from.
7) My family has a strange thing with bad things happening on our birthdays. Me, Feb 1st-Challenger exploded over Dallas, Mom-April 19th- Waco bombing and day before Columbine, Parents wedding anniversary-September 11th.
